Indelible Images Photography

Weddings

VISIT OUR ONLINE WEDDING GALLERY:

Three to four days after the wedding, our digital photographs are available in our online gallery where you and your friends may view them and, if desired, order prints online in sizes up to 8x10 and 11x14. For sizes up to 20x36, call us. But, most couples manage to find an Internet cafe and look at their wedding photos while on their honeymoon. Click Online Galleries in the menu.

Your album of 4x6 finished prints, included in all wedding packages, is delivered within two to three weeks after the event.

Also, you can special-order any number of beautiful, high-resolution prints directly from us (not via the web site) in sizes up to 20x30, with special cropping, retouching, color enhancements, mounted for framing, and at reasonable prices.

NOTES ABOUT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY:

Our photographer arrives at your wedding at least 45 minutes to an hour before the ceremony begins, that is, before the agreed-upon start time. You don't pay for that time, but it's standard policy in case of traffic jams, breakdowns, getting lost, etc. Then, the photographer stays and takes pictures for the entire length of time you contracted for, and even longer if you request additional time (at the published overtime rate).

There is no actual limit to the number of photographs we take. Typically, we will take anywhere from 40 to 75 per hour. We photograph all the usual events before, during, and after the ceremony including any and all groupings of family and friends that you want.

We invite you to give us your own list of special groupings and shots you would like to have included. If you have a wedding planner (which is a really good idea), you can give the planner a list of photos you'd like to have, and ask him or her to help get the people together for each of those photos.

Since we use all digital equipment, there isn't any added cost to taking additional pictures--because there isn't any film! Thus, all it "costs" is the photographer's time, which you have already paid for. So, we shoot all the pictures we can while we're there. This means that we take all the photos needed for a TRUE storybook wedding albumexcept you don't have to pay for the album up front.

About Ed Mitchell's photography:

If you are thinking about retaining Ed as your wedding photographer, you might want to know a little about his philosophy of taking pictures. One of his favorite sayings is:

"Portraiture is the highest art form of photography."

That means he likes to take pictures of people. Ed has relatively little interest in taking pictures of landscapes, sports, nature (well, maybe a little), or architecture. When he's working, his favorite thing to do is to "get in close with a camera, and use it to study people." When he goes on vacation, for example, most of his photos are of the people in the places he visited, not of surrounding landscape.

From his point of view, there are few times and places better for photographing people than weddings and wedding parties.

If you look through the weddings in his Online Gallery, you will notice that most of his shots are close in. Sure, he does all the obligatory wide shots of the wedding party, family groupings, and guests. But, you'll notice that most of the other shots are up close and personal. Essentially, Ed is a portrait photographer who likes to shoot weddings.
