Wedding
planners and event guidebooks recommend
that you schedule
your photographer as the first step in planning an event. The best photographers
usually get booked up way in advance. Making your wedding photography
reservation at least a year in advance is ia good idea. This applies to other events as well, especially during the wedding season (i.e.,
warm weather).
But, if you're late finding a photographer, don't despair. We have
arrangements with other professional photographers to cover last-minute
events. Plus, now and then cancellations and postponements happen.
Here's what you need to do to take care of the photography for your event:
1. Please email or call to see if we have a photographer
available on the day of your event. If so, you can discuss the photography package you want
and place a tentative reservation for that date and time.
2. If possible, arrange for a face-to-face meeting to meet
your photographer and discuss your wants, needs, and desires for pictures of the event.
Photography is a "personal service," and it's always better to have a personal acquaintance with
the photographer who's going to do it. If time, distance, or circumstances don't permit a personal meeting,
we will be happy to work with you by telephone and/or email.
3. Once you know that we're available on the
date of your event, send a 1/3 deposit (33% of the fee) to Indelible Images
Photography LLC, which reserves your date. We will immediately send two
copies of a simple agreement stating
the date, time, place, and the photographic services desired. Within ten days,
you should sign the agreement
and send one copy back to us. At that time, we are "under contract" to you
for that date.
4. No later than two weeks before your event, send the balance
due for the services that were agreed upon. Photography packages for all events must be paid
in advance. After the event, you may order as many additional prints and
albums (beyond those included in the package)
as you wish, either online from our web site (for small- to medium-sized
prints), or directly from us (for larger quantities or large prints).
**PLEASE NOTE: Your deposit is fully refundable up to ninety
(90) days before
the event. However, on or after ninety days before the event, your deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE no matter
what the cause including sickness, death, and acts of God. In cases where your event must be
postponed, we will gladly work with you to reschedule the photography.
Scheduling conflicts: For any given event
date, our policy is to book the first client who pays the deposit and signs
a contract, on a first-come, first-served basis.
