Ed Mitchell started taking pictures in 1966. Since then, he's worked in commercial photography, portraiture, aerial photography, high altitude photo analysis, and photographed events including weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, parties, business events, and advertising campaigns.

In this photo, Ed is holding a film camera. That picture is now a collector's item because he no longer uses film. These days, he shoots only high-resolution professional digital cameras.

Ed is primarily a wedding photographer. His experience and temperament are ideally suited to capturing the beauty and drama of matrimonial events. He is a calm and patient guy who likes working with people. He has the reputation for keeping his head when those about him are coming unglued. He knows how to adapt, overcome, improvise, stay cool...and capture great photographic images.
